Three Years Ago, I Would’ve Given Anything To Be Sweating Where I Was Last Night. Last Night, I Took This Video At Cru’s Football Camp. My Plan Was To Post It For Winning Wednesday. But Every Time I Sat Down To Write The Caption…Nothing Felt Right. So I Didn’t Post It. Now I Know Why. It Wasn’t Meant For Yesterday. It Was Meant For Today. As I Sat On Those Metal Bleachers In 104° Texas Heat, I Started Thinking… Three Years Ago, I Was Sweating Just Like This. But I Wasn’t Sitting In The Stands. I Was Inside Our Food Truck. And While I’m So Thankful For Those Years Because They Helped Provide For Our Family, They Also Meant I Missed A Lot Of Football Practices And Camps. Last Night, I Got To Be There. Was I Hot? Absolutely. Was I Questioning Why Football Camps Happen In July In Texas? Also Yes. 😂 But Somewhere Between Wiping The Sweat Off My Face And Watching Cru Do What He Loves, I Realized… This Is Something I Used To Pray For. Not Perfect Circumstances. Not Cooler Weather. Just The Chance To Be Present. Maybe That’s The Whole Point Of Thankful Thursday…To Slow Down Long Enough To Realize We’re Living Prayers We Once Prayed. A Chance For All Of Us To Slow Down And Notice God’s Goodness. Not Just In The Big Miracles… But In The Little Moments We Might Otherwise Miss. Because If We’re Not Careful, We’ll Spend So Much Time Asking God For What’s Next That We’ll Forget To Thank Him For What He’s Already Done. So Today, I’m Thankful For 104° Heat. I’m Thankful For Sweaty Bleachers. I’m Thankful I Didn’t Have To Hear About Football Camp Later… I Got To Be There. And I’m Thankful For A God Who Is Faithful In Every Season…The Seasons Of Providing And The Seasons Of Simply Being Present. What Are You Thanking God For Today? 🤍 ❤️ Become Her.
